matthew smithmekong delta tour
My friend and I went on the three day Mekong delta tour to Phenom Phen mid July, we really enjoyed it. We were impressed by the itinery of the trip, we really fit a lot into the time we had- a lot of early mornings! Our tour guide JJ spoke good English and was from the area so could tell us a lot about the culture. JJ was also very helpful; i left my bag, on a bus we had used, which was heading back to Saigon!- i was heading to Cambodia! I told JJ and he organised the contents to be shipped to Singapore where i was finishing my trip. I am now back in Singapore and have recieved my bag, really saved me a lot of time and hassel! I would recommend TNK travel to all, great staff, great value!

Anna LuedickeHello
Hello, I just wanted to say thank you very much for all that you did for us in our recent trip to Vietnam. We just had such a wonderful holiday, helped by expert administration by you. Everything went according to plan and was so slick. With 2 young children, it took all the worries away and let us enjoy ourselves. The quality of the cars and guides was very good and we wanted for nothing. We selected your company because of your competitive prices and now that we have seen that you have quality service to match, we will recommend you to our friends. Many thanks, Anna Luedicke
Shaun McCreeCambodia Exclusive 5-day tour
Dear Nhu Y,
After our initial misunderstanding over payment (my fault entirely), I would like you to know that the tour went excellently. A friendly & helpful guide in Phnom Penh made our day both pleasant & informative, even if we were rather devastated by the Killing Fields & S21. Although they are hard to take, we think everyone should see them to understand what happened in Kampuchea. Our guide in Siem Reap, Marouan, & his driver were if anything even better and our trips around the Angkor complex were absolutely unforgettable. The Hotel Salina in Siem Reap was good value for money, despite being the cheapest available but we were a little disappointed with the Princess in Phnom Penh where we found the food rather poor & the staff rather disinterested. We recognise this is also the cheapest option but clearly does not match up to the budget hotels we stayed in throughout our 4 weeks in Vietnam. Our only small problem was that the advertisement on your website suggests lunch is provided everyday although, on checking your acknowledgement, it was not listed. Perhaps someone could correct the website.

Mai Chau Valley - Attraction in Hoa Binh
Mai Chau is located in Hoa Binh province, approximately 135km from Hanoi and 60km from Hoa Binh. From the top of Cun Mountain, one can admire the magnificent panorama of Mai Chau surrounded by a green valley and dotted with stilt houses. Many minorities, including the Thai ethnic group, live in Mai Chau.
Stilt houses border both sides of the roads. The houses are quite large with palm-leaf roofs and polished bamboo-slat floors. The kitchen is located in the center of the house and is in many ways the most important room, used for weaving the colorful tho cam - the material used by the Thai people to make their clothes - as well as for cooking. The windows are large and decorated with patterns. Each house also has a pond to breed fish.
The weekly Sunday market brings a lot of people into town. People from the various minorities living in the mountains come to Mai Chau market to sell their products, such as honey, bananas, corn, and tho cam made by skilled Thai women. The Sunday market is also the place where you can enjoy delicious Thai dishes and participate in traditional dances.
Mai Chau also serves as a base for trekking tours to the surrounding villages, which offer overnight homestays in the traditional houses of the H'Mong and Thai people.
Hoa Binh is a mountainous province located in the north of Vietnam. It is bordered by Son La to the west, Ha Nam and Ninh Binh to the east, Phu Tho and Ha Tay to the north, and Thanh Hoa to the south. The province is home to six minority groups, each with its own language, traditional literature and festivals.
The remote minority villages are attractive sites for tourists who love to sample the local specialty dishes, including rice cooked in bamboo and grilled meat. They also enjoy watching traditional Thai dancing, singing and musical performances featuring drums and gongs
