Steve and Jackie LaPlanteVietnam package tour ( Dec 13th 2008 )
Hello Mr Danh and Mr Trinh Just a short note to let you know that we are now safely back in Seoul after an extremely enjoyable, fascinating and relaxing 10 day tour of Vietnam. The tour package exceeded our expectations in all respects: the guides were great, the accommodations were excellent, the tours fascinating (and the diving in Nha Trang was very good as well). I would recommend this tour and TNK Travel to my colleagues without hesitation. Thanks for your great work with this- I expect we will come back to Vietnam again soon.
Most sincerely- Steve LaPlante.

Kurt HaeringComment on 22 Day Tour
TNK has succeeded to present a superb tour covering the major ponts of interest in Vietnam and Cambodia. From planning to execution TNK provided excellent performance with the reliability of a Swiss clock. As we booked a private tour the organization was perfect and the guides met highest standards. We truly recommend TNK for exploring this beautiful country and its friendly people.

Annikki and PierreIndochina Customized Tour ( Nov 11th 06 ) /Mr. Pierre Herbert / Tour Report from Pierre
Hello Mr Dac Danh, Annikki and I hope you are very well and we wish you, according to our western calendar, a very Happy New Year for 2007 and a lot of success for TNK Travel. We came well home thru Malaysia and have been very busy since. But we promissed you a short report and comments on our beautiful trip thru your country and the two neighboring ones. Here it is: First we must thank you again for a well organized tour, showing many highlights. Also, we have to confirm that the tour guides you selected for us have been very punctual, very friendly and had sufficient knowledge of the place and customs to make us enjoy every day. Nhi for the Mekong Delta, Heng for Phnom Penh, Phin Borey for Siem Reap, "Jack"for Houen Xai to Loang Prabang, Khamtam in Vientiane, Tranh in Hanoi, Thinh in Lao Cai, Huy in Hue and Tong in Ho Chi Minh City, all have been doing an excellent job. Some were very knowledgeable in history like Phin Borey and Huy, which is always very appreciated by us. The hotels were confortable enough. Luxury is not what we wanted but being in a genuine local environment. But in Chau Doc, the Ben Da Nui Sam Resort was situated in front of the loudspeaker broadcasting political news at night and early in the morning, which made resting impossible. In the early morning, at breakfast, the staff was bringing a very frugal breakfast and refused to bring a second cup of coffee...That hotel we cannot recommend. In Vientiane, the Lane Xang hotel is old and we got a small, rundown room. We called the agent Max and he rectified for a Superior room. In Ha Noi, the Army Hotel was OK but a bit "cold"! All hotel were situated at convenient distance from points of interest, so that was a plus. We can especially recommend the Asia Hotel in Hue for its friendly atmosphere, its situation on the Perfume river, its comfort and breakfast. Pakbeng Lodge on the Mekong is also to be recommended for the same reasons. Meals were mostly adequate, some excellent like the ones on the Huong Hai junk on the Ha Long Bay. Otherwise, we have the following recommendations: 1. In the Mekong Delta, a visit on one of the Cai Rang Market boats would be very interesting to speak with the boat people and see how they organize their living onboard. 2. In Ankor, before entering the temple area, we had to wait on line 1 1/2 hour (taking a pass photo and making the day pass). If the visitor was told in advance to bring one pass photo, it would speed up the entry. Also in Ankor, you may forget the sunset at Phnom Bakheng because the crowds are too big now and the lookout totally disorganized. 3. In Ha Long, the crowds are also big now and...nearly 200 junks departing at about the same time...!!! Unless the captain of your junk is given instructions to avoid the crowd, your visitors will be soon on line or in a pack to visit anything. We interviewed several locals and captains. Alltogether, there are nearly 600 junks now! In a summary, we really enjoyed both the way Mr Dzung Trinh, yourself and your staff organized and followed up our tour, how you friendly treated us as customers, we met many other friendly persons along the trip, we discovered the sceneries and features of cultures that made our tour a permanent emotion that we still enjoy. We wish you much success for this year! Kind regards to you, to Mr Dzung Trinh and your staff. Pierre and Annikki

Thankyou
Kerry Mowett
Dirk AmeerThanks so much !! (Viet Nam package tour Ameer)
Dear Ms Luu Vo,
we are back from Vietnam now and I would like to let you know that you and your colleagues planned one of the nicest holiday for us we ever had. We enjoyed so much Vietnam and all the friendly people and fantastic places in your wonderful country. A special thank you we wanted to say to our three tour guides. All were exceptionally friendly and helpful and provided us with a lot of useful information.
The mixture of beach, culture, city life, nature and history was fantastic and we have the feeling we learned a lot about Vietnam in just 3 weeks.
We would like to let you now that especially Eden Resort on Phu Quoc and Life Resort in Da Nang were really nice hotels. Last one with exceptional good food. We were unhappy just with just one hotel, Hoi An hotel. It is very noisy, we didn`t sleep two nights. There is a big construction going on, so also during day you cannot stay there. We recommend not to book it for other guest.
We will come back to Vietnam for sure again.
Two friend of us, Attila and Bernadette from Hungary with their parents will come to Vietnam shortly. We had a great evening last Sathurday when we showed them hundreds of Vietnam photos. They asked for your contact data and they will mail you short term. Please help them as much as you helped us.
Thanks so much and best regards,
Dirk, Kim, Fabian, Finn and Hannah Ameer
Great trekking in the untouched area of the Northern Vietnam
Mai Chau is a mountainous area of outstanding natural beauty, inhabited by a Thai and H’mong ethnic minority groups. This trip offers a great combination of cultural expedition and trekking. We trek for three days through the spectacular scenery, visit remote and stay overnight in local homes where we have the chance to get to know these hospitable villages. From the mountainous region of Mai Chau, we travel back to the nation's capital, Hanoi.
Highlights:
Itinerary at a glance:
Day 1: Hanoi – Mai Chau – Hang Kia Village ( B / L / D ) 3 hour trek on dirt and rocky path, uphill and down hill
Pick up at your hotel at 8 am and leave Hanoi for Mai Chau, the beautiful gate way to the mountainous area of northern Vietnam. On the way we will have a short stop for refreshment and visit Hoa Binh hydro power station then continue driving to Xa Linh Village, where we will have our lunch in a H’mong house before setting off on a beautiful trekking in the afternoon. From here we will not use our car until the last day. After lunch we will begin our trek on the village’s road and then walk on dirt path used by the locals. After 40nims we will reach Tra Day Village, home to a small community of Black H’mong minority people. From the Tra Day village we have two options for trekking route to reach Hang Kia, where we will stay overnight. The easier route with rocky path running through another H’mong village. The harder route take more time to do with trail uphill through jungle and dirt path though terraces. We reach Hang Kia around 5pm. Hang Kia is a small and scenic valley, which is home to a group of Flower H’mong minority people. Tonight we will stay overnight with a H’mong family. While our local guide cooks dinner we can take shower or stroll around the village. Dinner around 7.30 pm. Before going to bed we will treat our feet with herbal foot massage, which you do by yourself with guide’s instruction.
Day 2: Trekking from Hang Kia to Van Village ( B / L / D ) 5 hour trek on downhill jungle train and flat dirt road
After breakfast in the house we will say goodbye to the family and begin an exciting trekking day. Right after the village we will walk on jungle trail for one hour. The trail could be a bit wet due to the dense trees that keep sunlight away. After that we descend the hill passing farm and terraces. The scenery is stunning with mountains, terraces and expansive valley. During the trek we will some breaks for snack, rest, and photographing. After crossing a small river we reach a village of White Thai minority group, where we have lunch in a local house. After lunch, you may wish to have a short nap in the house. In the remainder of the day we will walk on village road to reach Van Village, a beautiful village of White Thai minority people. The road runs zigzag along the valley and through lots of scenic village. Tonight we will have dinner and stay overnight in a Thai family. We will eat and sleep on the bamboo floor as it is the traditional way. Again, our local guide will cook dinner for us while we taking shower or having a pre-dinner drink. At the meal time the host will welcome us with home made whisky. Before going to bed we look after our feet with herbal foot massage.
Day 3: Trekking from Van Village to Buoc Village ( B / L / D ) 5 hour trek on slightly downhill and uphill
After breakfast we say goodbye to the family and begin 3-hr trek in the morning to reach Buoc Village. The path will runs uphill and down hill through bamboo forest, terraces and farms. On the trek we may see farmers working on their farms. Around 12 pm we will reach Buoc Village, another scenic village of White Thai minority people. We will have lunch in local house and take a short nap if you wish. In the afternoon, we will enjoy 2-hr leisure trek around the village. Weather permitting, at the end of the day we could enjoy the cool water of the stream nearby the homestay. Dinner will be cooked by our local guide. Foot massage before bedding time.
Day 4: Trekking to Van Mai – Transfer to Hanoi ( B / L / _ ) 3 hour trek on the dirt road along mountain foot
