Just revisited the TNK website and thought I would add to the travel guest book. My wife, self, and two friends travelled with TNK in Jan 2008. We started in HCMC, took a bus to Phnom Phen, a ferry to Siem Reap, plane to Hanoi, went trekking at Sapa, cruising on Halong Bay, then train to Hue. From initial emails putting my ideas into a manageable itinerary the organisation was seemless. Transfers, accommodation, driver/guides in Vietnam and Cambodia, our diminutive Hmong guide Shu in Sapa, and our meet and greet in Hanoi, TNK arranged everything brilliantly.
We have since recommended TNK to friends who travelled with them this year and could not speak highly enough of the company. And as a bonus the price for our tour was over one thousand dollars cheaper than equivalent prices quoted by Australian tour operators. Congratualtions to Mr Dan and the team at TNK
Mr.Karen Isobel PodolskyThank you to Kim Cuong
Dear TNK Travel,
This note is to thank you for the wonderful services you provided on our recent visit to Vietnam.
We especially want to thank Ms. Kim Cuong. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. We were very happy with the itinerary she prepared for us. She helped us get a flight back to the U.S., even though it was not part of her job, and we appreciate that. The other people in your office were very good, too.
Please let Ms. Kim Cuong know that we were happy that she could help us, and that we would recommend TNK Travel to anyone who will be coming to visit Vietnam.
Sincerely,Karen Isobel Podolsky and Joan Renee Sinclair
Jeff ElliottFeedback on Mekong Delta Tour
My daughter and I joined a tour of the Mekong delta aboard the Le Cochinchine during the early part of June. We very much enjoyed the trip, the accomodation on board was very good (we appreaciated the air conditioning!) The food was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a fantastic expereince which was well organised and executed. I would not hesitate to use your services again. Regards Jeff Elliott
kete gocedenioThank you for a wonderful experince with my family
Hi Dzung Trinh, As a photographer, I have been travelling South East Asia for 17 years. I have been to vietnam many many times. However this was the highest rating I can ever give to a Vietnam tour operator. I would give a Double A for satifaction index. Worth mentioning is Luc, the tour guide with us to Sapa. Although new in the guide tour business, he really take time to see that we are taken cared of. He eat only when he sees we are well seated. Prompt and courteous, he is always there when needed. The hotel staff in Hanoi are also great. Very courteous and accommodating. I would like to say that the pinnacle of our journey is the surprise New Year's dinner in a cave in Halong bay. We were all taken aback with the setting, live musician, candle light dinner. It is simply magica. The 7 piece acoustic band played really well ( I was a sound engineer in London ) I am glad the tour turned out extremely well because I have hesitant in the beginning as I don't know your company. Definitely I will recommend your company to our friends. Once again, thank you for a wonderful experince with my family. Regards, Kete Go Cedenio
John KellasMai Chau 4 day trek
We used TNK Travel for 16 day tour in 2008 and have now moved to Hanoi for a year and use their local affiliate, Dream Travel in Hanoi. We arranged to do the 4D/3N trek from Po Co/Hang Kia to Mai Chau over New Year. While the weather was cloudy and we missed the spectacular sights, we did enjoy the exercise. We had a local Guide/Cook, Miss Phuong, and a Hanoi guide, Quyen, with Mr Son doing the luggage transfers. We had 3 homestays and Phuong showed her culinary skills to perfection, different dishes each lunch and dinner, at each one. We seemed to meet most of Phuong's family through the course of the 4 days, which we enjoyed. Homestays were satisfactory and trekkers will find them acceptable. Village life is simple and basic and one hears all the animals day and night, so expect the roosters to crow early and often. We will suggest to our own future visitors that we do some more treks or stay at Mai Chau. Thanks to Danh (TNK) and Ngoc Anh and Trang (Dream Travel). JDK PS Ask for Phuong and Quyen as guides

Tour highlights : Originally named Transindochinois, this is the train which links Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. Construction of the railway commenced in 1899 and was not completed until 1936, but for many years the service was suspended due to various wars. In 1975, the re-establishment of the rail link between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City became a critical project as a symbol of unity for all Vietnamese, hence the name Reunification Express. Today, the railway offers tourists an excellent, comfortable and time-saving mode of transport, allowing you to make the most of your holiday as you travel from south to north, experiencing the wealth of beauty, culture and adventure that Vietnam has to offer.
